Your perception and way of thinking is often what causes you to fail at something. Sometimes, inappropriate beliefs limit you from achieving your goals. Therefore, if you want to truly succeed in life, changing the way you think must be your primary concern and goal.

Another destructive pattern is making conclusion even if there are no evidences to support it. This perception can potentially limit the way you look at reality. Assuming that other people think badly about you is also another thought that can be destructive.
Recognize The Time You Are Using Your Destructive Thoughts
You now know that there are many destructive perceptions in life that you could be possessing. These various perceptions are employed on certain things and activities you perform. There can be instances when you are employing positive thinking such as while performing tasks you are very good at; and you employ destructive thinking on certain areas where you feel seriously incapable of like love or meeting with the opposite sex. It will be greatly helpful if you can identify what these problem areas are because these are times when you are likely to employ negative thinking patterns.
Substitute Good For The Bad
Once you have pinpointed which patterns of thinking are not good for you and the instances when these inappropriate perceptions are at work; you could already map out a plan of action to replace bad with good. This is the part that takes some time to happen and complete.
For example, change your bad opinion of money as a result by thinking about it as tool. You probably think of money as something that you will gain only after working hard for it. Spend money and you will lose it. Instead of thinking this way, focus on believing that money is a tool. After being acquired, money will allow you to do more of what you want.
Focus On The Solution, Not The Problem
Suppose your problem is all about your debts, do not get stuck on paying these debts and bills. Do not allow your attention to be concentrated on these; that you need to acquire more money so that you can pay off all your dues. Thinking like will distract you from attracting wealth. Rather than just planning to repay debt after earning money; plan also about setting aside even just a little amount for your savings. Eventually, these little savings will grow and amass to become your great fortune.
